AuthorTopic: 4Front Rhode early beta

Hello!

http://www.yohng.com/rhode.zip

This is early beta of 4Front Rhode module. High end sounds a bit too squeaky, but I think I'll change that until release.

Well, anyway, you have a nice intrument to play. It has standard VST gui (no splash banner) with 2 parameter! (volume and filter cutoff)

Give me your feedback

Thanks,
George.

I agree, the low end sounds great. Nice job!

Have to be honest and say there are better (free) ones out there. Plus there's not much I can do with those parameters (I could always control that stuff with a plug). Release and crunch would have been more useful if you were only to give away a 2 parameter version. Rolling Eyes

Sorry I don't mean to be discouraging. Smile I just think there are plenty of great Rhoads knok-offs already available. I'd more encourage something that isn't already in the spot light like a Melodica sound module (no parameters are needed) or a silky vibraphone. I don't care too much for Dash stuff, but must say that I'm tempted to get their latest ethno sound module (well if it weren't $99) because of the sounds offered that currently are hard to find (a bagpipe WTF?)

sounds pretty good with the master filter turned all the way down

you're right about the squeaky high end, though
