Hi Moritz,
That is a compressed SF2 file. You have to unpack it first. I think the archiver/extracter is called Sfpack2.

No, there are two packers: sfArc and SFPack and you'll definately need SFPack for .SFPack files.

Posted: 5th October 2003 15:41

well, it's advertised as a rar utility for mac, so it should work.
or I can just stick it on my site as it is (123 megs)
makes no difference to me, maybe I should do that - there might be some sound quality difference..
what do you think?
as I said, makes no diffeence to me I've got plenty of room but uploading will take a little more time
Moritz Morpheus MkIII
Posted: 5th October 2003 15:55
well, if you donīt mind...I gotta work all night, so Iīm around Smile

ew, I got a shareware version, I think Confused
ew
Posted: 5th October 2003 16:08
I'm talking about the interface,Moritz-the one on the WinRAR site for Mac uses a command line interface instead of a shell.
Should work though-you'd think .rar is .rar
ew
bluedad
Posted: 5th October 2003 16:09
well I'm uploading the rar file, it's actually 1 meg larger than the sfpack.
but it's still gonna take another 45 minutes or so to get up there..
shareware should still open it, you may get a nag screen. I used winrar shareware for a long time, until I finally realized that I used that utility so much I should cough up the money (so I did!) thank goodness no more nag screen! Laughing
actually, I made this a self-extracting file, so you may not even need a rar utility.
why does it take so long to upload something? it only took a few minutes to download the file. I have the fastest broadband connection I can get on cable, but uploading is always slower.
down to half an hour. I'll post the link when it's finished.
Moritz Morpheus MkIII
Posted: 5th October 2003 16:15
no interface here! Laughing
..the app just waits for something to convert..

Moritz Morpheus MkIII

bluedad
Posted: 5th October 2003 18:12
hmm.. Crying or Very sad I don't know..
ok, I'm uploading the 123 meg font.
Moritz Morpheus MkIII
Posted: 5th October 2003 18:25
gary, donīt bother... Wink
..still working but hmmm..for how long is the question..
dr.wackler
Posted: 5th October 2003 18:31
Usually you can unpack .rar files with Stuffit Expander.
The best Win/Mac interchange format is a .zip file though. Stuffit can handle those, too.
bluedad
Posted: 5th October 2003 18:32
i'm sorry moritz..
but it's on the way. it'll be there tomorrow..check back here.

Unfortunately sometimes Stuffit fails expanding a .rar file and gives you the error message "compressed with an unknown RAR method".
I should have mentioned that earlier, sorry (that's why I wrote "usually").
