just posted tonight.. hope you all dig em.

grumblebum 2.0
grumblebum is a stereo vst effect that uses the incoming audio to drive its internal synth. the results range from a subtle analog accompaniment, to wet analog sounds, to screeching distortion. try it on drums, vocals, leads, whatever.

version 2.0 adds both pre and post variable state filters, and some optimizations to internal routing to improve both cpu usage and sound quality.

cairo 1.0
cairo is a stereo vst effect that processes incoming audio and gates the audio in sync with your tempo. it also adds some distorion and a filter to the mix. this one is very low cpu usage, and can create some very nice rhytmic effects.

breakdown 1.0
breakdown is the second vst based on the 8-step effect engine originally used in mashup. it uses 8 serial variable-state filters, each individually toggleable and adjustable; it then cycles your audio through them in succession at a rate always synced to your tempo. the results vary greatly. danger: the overlapping filters can seriously clip your sounds, be sure you have your speakers turned down a bit before using the random feature!

you've done it again!
breakdown kicks ass.

right now i've got a simple bassline running through both mashup and breakdown. the mutations they are doing that to bassline are fantastic. Very Happy

well i love these effects, but just like their close kin scuzzphut, they (the step sequences) don't work in Cakewalk's Project 5 and I assume Sonar-- only the first gate light the gate and only the first step seems to alter the sound.

however, in FL Studio (as with scuzzphut) these all work fine and mangle the sound in very tasty order.

nice work.

im assuming project5 uses the same fxpansion based vst wrapper that sonar does? i dont think this passes the true transport information down to the vst plugin. i'd be surprised if other vst plugins with transport synced features work in these hosts as well. if it seems to be specific to things made in synthedit, then i'll see if i can get the bug worked out pronto Wink
