.. available now at http://www.krakli.co.uk is abacus..

Abacus is a synth which can make sounds of the 80's digital synths (Think C*sio) but can also turn its hand to percussive or plucked tones. It's velocity sensitivity and unusual architecture will make you want to play it ... And play it..

...and don't forget if you don't want to make music with it, you can always use it to play Connect4 Very Happy

Have fun and let me know how you find it..!

i just have to say a big thanks to you ian for all your free synths. it's obvious you put lots of effort into your stuff and i'm always glad to add another krakli synth to my growing colleciton. i'll download this one and see what i can do with it Very Happy

that isn't to exclude other freeware developers, too... a huge thanks to all of you guys, we are all very grateful for your generosity!

Well, I like this one very much. Thank you Ian. As I weed out my VSTi folder periodically, I always leave some of yours in there; this will be one of them, I am sure. You are very kind to give us these fine tools and toys.

Well this one has been up now for at least 3 days ( nearly a lifetime in VSTi terms Very Happy ).. so I guess that a few of you you have had a chance to try it out...
I was wondering how you were finding its tonal quality i.e are you finding it more suited to a particular type of sound, and, no less importantly, your opinions on it's looks..

.. I can understand if its giving some of you spots before your eyes, but can it give you spots before your ears ..

Oh, and thanks to those who have already given feedback
