love your question, weezer Rolling Eyes

just checked out your posts, always asking for something, mostly freeware which is ok, but also asking for protected setup passwords and here in this post you clearly indicate you are a warez user Rolling Eyes

http://www.kvr-vst.com/aboutkvr.php

try scrolling to the bottom and read what KvR isn't about.

You probably mean well but as you'll find out, most people here truly despise warez users. Or maybe you are not a warez user, in which case you would be offering freeware vst's in return. If this is the case then I believe that you should be offering url's to the creators' websites that offer these creations and maybe get them a little more exposure instead of just using their labor as barter for trade (your personal gain.) Just my opinion though.

Surprised what are you? the KvR-Gestapo?

Weezer182 asked for a SE Freebie, either help him or let him alone.

There is also no evidence in his post that he is offering warez in return. Maybe he's coded his own VSTis, what do we know?

All this "warez-paranoia" that is exposed here is kinda sick!

not to mention, he *did* offer to trade a VST if someone did have it. that is slightly illegal I would say...

That is not illegal. At least not where I live.

When I have bought a product I can do whatever I want with it. Throw it away, give it away, trade it in... that's not illegal at all. Razz

I don't think that the offer is a trade... its more of a you scratch my back I will scratch yours kind of deal. When you "buy" software you are really not buying it, you are licensing it, which means that you cannot throwit away give it away or do what ever unless you have express written permission of the software vendor. And maybe in your country they don't care about intellectual property, but I would say that is stealing = wrong, uncool, shitty or any other negative adjective.

For fuck's sake...not another piracy debate! It's usually started by a warez bandit who unwittingly reveals his deeds and is usually followed by a chorus of sanctimonious anti-piracy crusaders who think their shit doesn't stink.

Way to shut down this thread, geeseaplenty! Whew! If it wasn't for your post, which will undoubtedly end this debate here and now, we'd have to read pages of this stuff.

I think, Vastny didn't released anything up to date. All of their machines are still in development. Am I right?
