i really want a vsti that functions just like acid does, but can run inside a sequencer like cubase. ie: start cubase playing, open up vsti which has a file browser that looks like a normal windows file browser. when you click on a wav file it plays the selected loop in time with the project and at the right key. when you find one you want you then import it and can play it like a sampler. that's all i ask. acid gets it so right but it just doesn't play nice with the other kids.

Phat does not preview at host tempo from it explorer last time I looked you have to load it 1st.

check out concreteFX Dicer for beat slicer and Codaudio beat burner for previewing loops at host temp.o
