This is the repost from the topic "Refund of Vertigo"
(deleted by discoDSP)

Very sad exemple of how a company can tread its customers...

The beginning of this topic is missing, good for DSP.
TALENTED GUYS, but no caracter or ethics.

NEVER EXPECT ANY REFOUNDS FROM THEM
EXPECT A BAN AND A KICK IN YOUR ASS !

I post this to let anybody see how they do/did business !

Maybe someone still has the beginning of this topic !?

Wow, I can't recall seeing such unprofessionalism from a company in a long time. The smart thing to do would have been to quietly give refunds to the complainers and let the flames die. Instead, DiscoDSP's name is now mud.

I totally agree.
Good luck discodsp, you're gonna ******* need it.

I prefer sell 1 plugin in 20 years that 30 plugins in 1 month, at least i know the customer bought the plugin by itself, nor by any reputation, developer or company fame or any marketing hipocresy.

It's our upgrade policy: updates are FREE for customers, but we reserve our right to ban any user with or without any reason.

With Sp33d, we got a reason. Btw: to everyone who want or need throw crap or blame us because he has nothing more important to do: discoDSP will continue development running no matter what sells we got.

Just before you guys disappear off the map, would you like to try and explain exactly what that reason is ?

I've read all of the threads and there seems to be little reason for you to do that other than you being angry.

If you still want that one plug-in customer per 20 years, you're going to have to do a lot, lot better than that.

So ? What's the reason ?

I suppose they could always try a damage limitation exersise and offer a refund for Vertigo to the few people who wanted it. It's never too late to make ammends. Smile

omg talk about a total business implosion... well thats what happens to companies that don't take care of their customers < lesson to other companies, small or large.

Well, if they're actually indifferent to the business aspect of their company and discoDSP is more of a "something to do" project (or a labour of love), then this is hardly surprising. Also, if that's the case, criticizing their business acumen is a waste of effort. They have none and desire none.

They make some good products (you must admit their products are not poor) simply because they want to and any issues can easily be brushed aside because they don't NEED customers. It's kinda like they took the helpfulness of NI and combined it with the friendliness of Image-Line. All they need now is PACE protection on their plugs... Confused

OK, enough nonsense, there are more important things to think about like England not losing to the Turks Neutral
