When did the bitshift forums get pulled? Now there doesnt even seem to be a FAQ for PhatMatik...
Oh well, before I email their support, is there anyone here who bought PPro as a download who found out how to get the new sample content? Im sure it was mentioned (once upon a time) that original customers could get hold of it somehow...

I managed to order it via a link on the forum, not that that helps you now! To be honest, I wasn't that impressed, there were some decent drumloops but most of them lifted off of other sample CDs, from Primesounds and Techniks.....

The forums dont exist. The PPro FAQ was on the forum.

How long has the forum been gone? I was just there last week...and it was still relatively active. Before that, the whole site was gone for a bit. Still, it looks like the bit on the support page regarding the forum has been removed. Maybe Art prefers to deal with the customers directly now. I'm sure he'll make it happen for you, Rabbyt.

Im sure he will, I was just checking if the loops were actually still available before I bugged someone about it...

(I notice there's a PPro 1.2 for OSX/AU posted on the site if anyone deviant uses that kinda stuff )

Yeah, I happened to drop in on the forum last week to post a few comments about ppro 1.1.

Art had left a message saying that the forums had never matched his vision of what they might be (or words to that effect) and were going to be shut down in favour of private email support.

Bitshift are funny. They seem to be determinedly turning the oxygen off on their products. I guess that's the downside of people doing it for fun, really. I confidently predict that next week, pHATmatik will only work with firewire audio interfaces.

Hopefully I can shed a little light on the subject of the forums at Bitshiftaudio.

Art has decided to shut down the Forum in favour of Direct email Support.
It was felt that the forum was not up to the level of support Art had hoped to give his users.
Too many support requests can be missed or lost on Forums and this can cause problems for users feeling that they have been ignored.
As the amount of users has increased considerably over the last 12months this has to be addressed to meet everyone's needs

So, as of now all support issues should be sent to support@bitshiftaudio.com, more info is also available at http://www.bitshiftaudio.com/support/

All news and updates of PPRO can be read and downloaded at http://www.bitshiftaudio.com/news/

There will also be another update of the website shortly, included in this will be many features to make the users life easier.
