... since some days already. I´m wondering why they don´t announce it here. I was a beta tester and have the full version now - highly recommended!

I've got VSampler 3 that came with Sonar3 Producer. I've noticed there's an upgrade option. Besides getting the standalone and VSTi version, what will the upgrade provide?

Thanks.

Its basically the Rewire, VST and standalone versions...
(unless RW comes with S3... not sure bout that)

Nope, The maz site has a "What's up with the Sonar version" section under FAQ. It works according to the serial number. Sonar users get everything now except standalone, rewire or VST version, but in future will not always get all the same new functions with upgrades.

Wonder if they actually think that they are clever? After cheating us with a sub-standard sampleset, they are now limiting the options too.

seems a bit harsh on maz there ...

i dont know the details but presumably cakelwalk paid to license vsampler3 dxi under certain conditions hence the limited future update path ???

christ - you sonar users got it 'free' - be grateful eh ???

Can't be happy with everything, now can we!! Problem is I would have liked to use VS3 in my Project 5 as well. Now I'm still stuck with having to use 2 different samplers.

'Bout the sampleset - They advertised it as a "professional 2 CD set" and not as a demo.

Let me rephrase that - I can off course use it IN P5, but not LIKE P5 as a rewire.

anyway bloodhound - my entire post hung around the Razz in my signoff you know

Wink

It''s late in the evening here and my ears are worn out trying to mix up something for the comp - so now I'm just generally browsing around and looking for something to bitch about Laughing
