I have several insturments that also have DXi files. SHould I keep these? I use Standalone and with Cubase SX 2.0. I'd like to delete them since they are quite large. Unless They benefit me.

DXi .dll files are registered. You might want to un-register them before deleting. You can do this from the "Run" command line with Regsvr32.exe with the /u switch followed by the path and filename. If it's nested several directories deep you will need to put it in quotes or use the 8.3 naming convention.

There are a couple of applications that make this easier.

DXMan from www.analogx.com or the DXUninstaller from www.vb-audio.com.
