I currently own DR-008 it would be cheaper, for me to buy drum kit from hell, but would I be worth it to spend $220.00 more and buy BFD? I heard the demos but have not tried BFD.

Maybe. Drumkit From Hell is incredibly good and much cheaper than BFD. Not only that, but the DFH people are coming out with their own BFDesque VSTi in a month or so. It's good to have a choice, isn't it? The only bad thing is that there is no demo for BFD and probably no demo from DFH II, either. Come to think of it, there's no real demo for the original DFH...
