Ok,I posted this in the Host section, and the Cakewalk forum with no response,so I'll try it here. What I'm trying to do is,recording automation movements(NRPN's) from the GUI itself, not from an external controller or "drawing" NRPN envelopes. So far I can only get the crappy included Roland to do this, nothing else.Iv'e tried it with the DXi version of FM7,the VSTi of V-Station and Superwave P8 and I get nothing. What's interesting to note is the latter 2 I mentioned have all their respective NRPN's listed in Sonars controller menu,,but they just don't respond unless I draw it in.Am I missing something? Or is this the way it is with most VSTi/DXi on Sonar.Eventually I'll have a new keyboard controller so I'll be able to do it from that, but meanwhile.......,has anyone been able to automate any synth from the GUI in Sonar?
