AuthorTopic: Battery GUI crackle

Do any Battery users experience crackle when the GUI is up? What's up with that? It plays noise free when I minimize the GUI. I have a pretty solid system: athlon 2500, 512 ddr, cubase sx. I seem to remember having this problem when using cubase 5.1, but then the problem mysteriously went away. Any suggestions?

Normally the last update solved a GUI issue.
Have you installed the latest patch (there was only one ever I think)?

you can get version 1.0.5.1 when you email NI directly.... don't ask me why they never put it on the page

Crackles from GUI's I've also seen be the video card driver. My Maxtrox has an option for PCI BUS Master. I turn OFF the option, crackles for my Pulsar II card goes away on my second monitor. It's very weird. You fiddle with stuff on the second monitor, and the audio will crackle. Go over to the first, no crackle. Turn off that option, problem solved.

Just something else to look into.
