Agreed ... awesome.

It's not just the drum samples themselves, but the zillions of ace grooves that come with it, and the amazing mixer with all its mic postioning and stuff. Very precise.

The only downaside is that it tends to be heavy on juice.

If you're looking to make live sounding music it's a must-have.

Must have, it is a very complete product.

One feature I really like is the dynamics adjustment knobs on the GUI. Also the ability to have multiple midi grooves played back polyphonic in the Groove Librarian.

BFD is not a CPU hog on my system

BFD 1.0.7.5
AMD XP2400+ CPU (2Ghz) on VIA KT133a
1.5GB PC133 RAM
RME Hammerfall 9652@ 12ms under Nuendo 2.1

Best VSTi I've ever owned Very Happy !

FXPansion got the software to me quick fast and in a hurry, there weren't any install issues and the instrument sounds AWESOME! The included grooves are phat, and the ability to "roll-your-own" grooves makes this a completely flexible piece of software.

The support team is responsive and passionate, which makes for a very good experience, too. I can't wait for the add-on drum packs!

Excellent job FXPansion!!!!!!!

PS: I briefly considered the Steinberg Groove Agent VST, but was frightened off by the horror stories on the Steinberg user forum. Besides that, the support team blamed every instance of difficulty on the users' systems/hardware/host/intelligence, etc.
If I were the head of Steinberg, I'd immediately recall Groove Agent, as no one is going to buy it once word of BFD spreads.
