Just downloded the long awaited demo. I must say I was very plesantly surprised... I thought Orion's 'Monobass' had the 303 down to a tee until I heard this.

Absolutely fantasic emulation and a surprisingly powerful, punchy sound that cuts thru a mix just like the real thing.

And just as fiddly to program as the real thing too! Wink

OK, so now we just have to wait for the Acid House revival to kick in in about 2 or 3 years time so we have an excuse to use the thing! Smile

And while we're on the subject, I found this site (sorry if its been mentioned here elsewhere but I haven't seen it.)

http://www.djmaytag.com/303/

It a pettition demanding that Roland (or anyone who'll listen) re-release the original hardware box!

Quote from the site:

"The Roland TB-303
Computer Controlled Bassline
The name itself is larger than life...

The mere mention of the number "303" brings forth drool from producers, ravers, and music lovers alike."

Er... Are you sure?

Go on! Make his day. Sign his damn petittion!

BTW I totally agree and think that ABL is the holy grail of 303 emulations.

OK start the flame war, but seriously, if 303's float your boat you owe it to yourself to check this thing out.

Yeah, I bought this yesterday and I'm really pleased with it, looking forward to going home and letting rip (musically that is). TBH I thought I took a bit of a gamble buying it with no demo, so what do they go and do today.....anyway it doesn't matter to me, I've got it now and it sounds great.
