Does Synth 1 remember patch information when saving projects in Logic Audio (or in any VST host)?
From my experience it doesn't. Am i doing something wrong or is it pen and paper time?

Synth1 has its own patch format, you must save it from within Synth1 (the big red write button). It only remembers the number of the patch you use...

...but when i save a project and re-load it, all my instances of synth 1 are on bank 0 / patch 1.

It saves in Tracktion, but I think that's a Tracktion feature--nothing really to do in Synth 1 to make it happen.

Synth 1 responds to bank and program change info. Enter the relevant CC No and prg No in the track using the event editor. That should do it.

works fine here. logic platinum 5.51 win xp, latest synth 1 via chainer vsti. maybe the chainer part is why it works?

The GUI is plain but after modifying it I find it more than bearable. Being able to resize it as well as change the colours is very useful.
I find that whilst it sometimes appears to load the first patch after I reopen a saved song that all the settings are as I left them in ORION Platinum.

i've decided to just put a bank/program change command at the start of the song for each instances of synth 1. |
