Might have a little trouble booking him into the studio to lay down some tracks. Sad

ANOTHER drum VSTi? Wow. Guess there's something to say for choices, but more variety would be welcome.

Paul Cook is still alive and sounds absolutely wicked.

Keith... tricky, but I'm sure a few multitrack tapes exist.

But (let's start a flame war - hahaha), who the fuck needs "Toto Drums"?

So why don't you just "tow the line". Laughing

i want a dedicated, huge drum vsti of every synthetic type drum that you could possibly imagine. THAT would make me happy. the way it stands now I have to jump between so many vsti and sample disks all the time to find what i need. i would really dig a dvd library of nothing but electronic drums for pop, dance, house, trance, hard tech, and any other type of electronica

I am with you on that!

Something I have had good success with lately though is loaading up one or two percussion synthesisers (psydrum and kmt by oDo spring to mind) and spending about an hour just making wicked and strange loops through effects and dry, exporting to wave as I go. Then, I chop them up in a beatslicer. Mix and match or just as they are, I have been coming up with some good stuff and spending less time now looking for the right drum sound.
Oh, or you could just buy microtonic! Very Happy of course you probably have it already...
