AuthorTopic: a simple Q. regarding samples..info+tempo?where?.

Hi guyz,
I have a little prob..

I have a few libraries of samples which I use from time to time in Halion..
I'm not a great user of samplers, since I do most of my music thru live inst+synths and drum machines..

Still, I'd like to have a go @ sampling.

BUT, Of all the libraries I have with many many .wavs of any sort, I find REALLY annoying sorting them.

Thats because often the description of the files are like: bass01.wav;bass02.wav;bass02..bass04....etc.etc.

The problem is: they are often of different tempos-beats-etc.etc... and is very hard for me to put them toghether since i don't have any way of finding the right matching for the samples.

I wonder what's wrong. Its me that I'm not doing something-? or is just a horrible set of files that I have??

I'm very puzzled... Question Question

PLUS Any advice on 'proper' sampling is welcome... since I'm more on a 'trail nad error' phase at present since is not my main focus..
BUT I'd like to have a go at such a tool, without spending 2000+ hours in learning the prog..but spending 2000+ hours in making music!!!

thx!!! Very Happy Cool

I hope I've been clear enough.. Embarassed
