We are working on this exciting upgrade, meanwhile we're glad to present you the new features, showing here a "rough" gif of the standard beta GUI,

but don't forget that the synth is already skinnable,
so it may look really different from this

I guess you would like to know how the added FM sounds like, and the Loop Delay?

so here is a first demo, an excerpt from a long improvvisation I recorded live thru Chainer,
it's a medium quality VBR mp3, 3.5 MB big
only the Abstract Guitar 2 used

you can quite clearly hear the sitar like tone from FM in the lead line in the interlude, and the harmonic effect of it on feedback in the building up drone at the end

one here, very short 290 KB http://dashsignature.com/upload/Clean_to_FM.mp3

4 notes phrase with no FM
4 notes phrase with 30% FM

here one minute with Extra Envelope in action

I finally got a chance to listen without the laundry machines providing percussion. That bit that starts at about 20 seconds is beautiful... Very Happy

I have to admit I never tried the original Abstract Guitar in the first place, but this demo sounds very cool Cool

Sure is! Sounds like David Gilmour of Pink Floyd and Bill Nelson of Bebop Deluxe jamming over at Robert Fripp's house. Jimi's conducting of course! Smile

Any estimate on arrival time? Late Spring? Early summer? Sooner? Very Happy

Thanks

It sounds really good, I like the pad and can already envision how I could use Abstract 2.

I'm looking forward to how it all turns out with great interest.

I've always been a fan of The Abstract Guitar (having always been a fan of abstract guitar music), so it is nice to hear some new things with it. The first track sounds very much like something one might hear on a (as was stated earlier) a Bill Nelson track, or maybe even a Gong album (that is a good thing!). Exactly the sort of sound I like. The pad track sounds almost like a bowed bass to my ears. Excellent sound, and perfectly suited to what I like best about guitars in my tracks. Can't wait to see what happens with it!

haven't heard the mp3 yet
all I needed to hear was 'something one might hear on a bill nelson track' and I'm looking forward to it.

Just realized what reminded me of Bill Nelson. Didn't he use an EBow a lot, especially on his solo albums?
