AuthorTopic: Arturia Minimoog V

I received my weekly Audio Midi newsletter yesterday and in it they referred to the Arturia Minimoog V.
It got me thinking so I went over to the Arturia website and they now have some audio demos with much better quality than what we heard from the Namm show.
One is even by our own Scot Solida.
Kinda love that bass huh Scot? Laughing plus I love the title of your demo.

I'm not sure if it sounds moog-like but sounds like a good instrument none the less.

Anyone else checked out these demos yet?

Hi seamonkey, the demos were pretty cool.
I like the Electro side of the minimoog song. Cool
I'll probably wait to hear how Ohmforce moog sounds before doing anything. Smile

Hi seamonkey, I thought they sucked.
Didn't sound like a moog at all.
Didn't sound like a virus either.
I can get better sounds out of synth 1. Mad

Bottom Line :

DON'T listen to the new demo's of the Minimoog, they can do some serious damage! Laughing

only if you use headphones. Shit!

Don't blame me, Scot's song was my last listen. Laughing

Thanks! I mean...erm, sorry. About the obvious brain damage that was inflicted...yeah, that synth is packing one big bass sound! Believe it or not, I actually rolled off the low frequencies a bit in that demo... Surprised Embarassed

Next time, I'll do a more "proggy" track...I figured that'd be all they had, so I conciously avoided it in favour of a more new wave kinda sound... Very Happy

I must say, there are some nice 80ties Electro/New Wave sounds in these demo's (electrominiv, ontheotherhand)! Cool

The demos sound disappointing - as do the older ones. Lifeless and flimsy... Sad Sad
