AuthorTopic: Anamark and daAlfa2k the missing link?

Hi

A couple of awesome synths that I missed first? time around.

I wanted to bring them to the attention of people who perhaps like me missed or simply are not aware of them.

Talk about value for money the pair came in at under £60!

The daAlfa2k is on a special deal (good rate of exchange at the moment) that brings with it the whole (third party) PRO SOUNDS preset library of several hundred presets in organized banks!

The Anamark also has over 400 presets.

Check these synths out because they are both very versatile- daAlfa2k can import WAV files which can be put through the synthesis engine.

The Anamark has a wonderful (at times) abrasive digital sound; but beyond that it is also more than capable of throwing out a whole range of sounds.

End of sales pitch; together they really fall into that questionable area of being so cheap as to blur the line between freeware and professional quality premium software.

And this is my end piece; you could ,produce sounds with these two babies that stuff three times the price would do little better at, so give them a whirl as they are both on demo.

Oh yes the missing link; I think the raw digital sound of the Anamark gives me the sounds that I could only previously get from the synthedit EVM synths but with considerably more flexibility whereas the daAlfa2k gets my WAV files into a playback/synthesis module in quick time so I can go on audio Search and Destroy missions!

Flipper.
