I cant help it...
This thing just sounds too awesome. Down right mean... (And the price is lower elsewhere) http://www.soundsonline.com/sophtml/details.phtml?sku=EW-162 But... Im wondering who uses this and if there are problems, and what upgrades with the NI products are available or needed? Also- any special things (like files to change/tweak or remove) like weirdness that happens in the vst or Dxi versions? Any information would be great. Thanks in advance....

I got Stormdrum because my sample collection was really lacking LARGE sounding drums. I wish I had bought it from audiomidi because it is much cheaper, but oh well. I haven't had a single problem so far and the drums sound amazing. I probably won't use the Intakt loops much. Unfortunately I haven't had much time to really dive in and use this in Cubase, but it works just fine in Chainer.

Thanks Silent..
Yes I bought from audio midi because of the price. Any issue in installation, or on upgrading the kontakt or intakt engines for this?

Installation couldn't have been easier, as it uses the same authorization process that all other NI products use now. There is an update file for it on the soundsonline website, something to do with direct from disk I guess, but I haven't downloaded it:

are the samples processed, or are they clean? last time i made a big mistake by getting brutal beats and it had a bunch of processed shit. |
