sorry I can't help you but thought a bit of a bump back up might draw the attention of one of our more knowledgeable members.
Hang in there, I'm sure someone will know about this.
Good luck. Smile

If you don't play your own instruments or play that particular style then I recommend it. I used it a little before I acquired the capability to record straight into FL Studio(you know, the whole ASIO,audio interface mess). My advice is just to learn how to play the stuff yourself but if that's not an option then yes, the samples are pretty good.

There isn't really any other commercially available sample library that deals with Folk/Blues/Country, I've heard that it is a good collection - the Pedal Steel is apparently amazing! Wink

Now that is an idea. Spend $10,000+ to buy the collection of instruments that are sampled on that CD, and at least 10-20 years becoming proficient enough to play and record them without being laughed at. Just a warning, playing a guitar does not translate to playing a hammered dulcimer. It takes time to REALLY learn how to play many of these instruments. Smile

Thanks everyone !I have ordered the collection although I agree that "real" is always better ! I am a fair country guitar player but what I really bought the collection for was the steel guitar and fiddles ect***It sounds asthough this should work "again thanks everyone".

Yeah, but you don't need to play guitar very well to strum better than a guitar multi-sample.

True, but that does not help you with the hammer dulcimer, steel guitar, harmonica, drums, etc. The collection has a lot more than just guitars.
