AuthorTopic: Attempting to Use BFD Plug-in in DP4

I am running DP 4.12 with Reason and BFD drum kit as virtual instruments.
Reason is running fine; BFD inputs and outputs show up in the tracks window
and BFD will trigger from my MIDI controller, but when I play back MIDI
tracks recorded in DP, with BFD as the target, BFD won’t respond. I have downloaded and installed the VST to Audio Unit adapter to no avail. Any ideas?
