I'm thinking of getting Kontakt and wondering if I'll be able to use some of my ST samples with it.

I tried converting to AIF and had difficulty importing that. SF2 works great though. Thanks!

Hey, me neither, Bluedad. Sad

But I went to their upgrade page and used the auth. code I got for v2.0. It worked the charm (At least, I think it did. The file I got cryptically says v2_, but the size is right, and most importantly, it's dated 4/08/04 so it should be the current version. Haven't installed it yet so I can't confirm).

Anyway, use your v2.0 auth code (assuming you got it) and it should work.

Well, I confirmed that it's version 2.03 so it worked.

I also discovered that the registration key it asks for when you run it came with the emailed confirmation at the time you originally purchased it. For me, that was about six months ago, and since I had run it only once since then, I'd forgotten all about it.

Thankfully, I'd printed a hardcopy.

Gotta do a better job of keeping track of these program codes... Rolling Eyes

Anyone remember what they paid for this? There's no info on the site.

The best converter i have come across is called Translator by Chicken Systems (www.chickensystems.com - I think). It pretty much converts anything to anything else. There are regular updates aswell. Check out the website to double check whether it definitely does what you want it to do but i'l be surprised if it doesn't!

The price is £99 but maybe you could pick it up cheaper if you look around.

I already know that Chicken will convert to ST but not from it, which means I can't use it.
