AuthorTopic: About the multichannel VSTI sampler

HI!everyone, something about the multichannel VSTI samplers always confuses me :

Is it really true that they use less CPU power when we use their multichannel output fuction?

Many multichannel VSTI samplers like the Halion and Sample tank have multichannel outputs

For example,in one VIST channel of VST HOST like Cubase or Nenudo I open one Halion , and I load serveal instruments in this VIST channel by Halion and output them by different AUX outputs. and another situation I open serveal VIST channels and use the same in struments in serveal Halions ,
I find they are almost the same in CPU useage.

Maybe I donot say clear, I want to say it in more easy ways:
I open 5 instruments in ONE Halion and I open 5 Halions but each one load ONLY ONE instrument, are they the same in CPU useage ????? Question Question Question Question
