Leafing through the pages of my current Keyboard mag, there is an ad for Emulator X and I was reminded of the intense discussion and excitement here which preceded it.

The Emu website is rather sketchy on it and I did hope for some audio mp3's.

I've always loved the Emu sound and it's filters having once owned a EMAX 11 and more than once came close to buying a 5000.

The ability to actually create samples instead of playing WAV files sounds very exciting to me.

So, any users yet and what are your thoughts about Emulator X, sound, user-friendliness, editing, etc?

thanks tomg for taking the time to provide the link, much appreciated.

I'd like to hear some audio examples of those lucious filters and emu sound in action and I'm very surprised there aren't any on their site.

C'mon EMU, check out the NI site.
