When playing vsti's from Midi/kbd in Orion platt or Fruity (or other!) can I have my live playing be recorded to a wav file in realtime.

I find no reference in the manuals and can not make windows recorder do this either.
Any other options?

Regards
Etric

why don't you just play your vst to midi, and then render the track as audio?
but I think there is a plug-in that will allow you to do this, but Ican't think of the name.

edit:
thanks topaz!

No, you cant. The only option is to make a pattern of XXX length, place it in the Playlist, and render to .wav after you have recorded your MIDI notes. not too much hassle really.

FLstudio does, but only in the "producer edition" i think. See "disk recording" in help.

Etric, just use DHwavewriter.

feed it a note on and it will record your performance live.
