I haven't really taken the ConcreteFX stuff all that seriously because it was so cheap and didn't seem to spark a lot of discussion on this forum but I finally sprang for the Unison bundle and over the weekend I've really been blown away by the utility and versatility of these synths.
Adder is now my favorite digital and I've found it not only more flexible than any of the others but much better sounding too. Digital is cool and has a distinctive sound. At first I wasn't all that excited about another monster subtractive like Unison but I'm liking it a lot too. It's very straightforward to use, has a huge number of modulation possibilities packed into a very clean and simple gui, and, most importantly, just sounds great. It has a very rich, analog sound that's compares very well to the best of the other subtractives. CPU usage is pretty reasonable too. Now I just wish I'd checked this stuff earlier. I might have saved some $$$ on much more expensive stuff. I'll still happily pay $200 for a first-class software instrument, but ConcreteFX has shown that you don't have to.

Except for the reverb, I've always liked the sound of the ConcreteFX stuff. Jon gives outstanding support. I've just never liked the GUIs. Unison / Micron are vast improvements over previous efforts in this area.
