Hi guys, does anyone know of the above? I don't need it to be fancy or anything, just a clean, stable plug in. I've tried some listed on the Instruments page on this site but none seem to either work correctly, or just seem to be a bit too complicated for my needs.
All I need is a free loop timestretch VSTi. Nothing fancy If you could help I'd be most grateful. Cheers,

How far are you trying to stretch it, and what host do you have?

Not very far. 130bpm to 140bpm. Just running the Orion Pro demo, and I don't seem to be able to locate any timestretch facility. I could, however, be quiet blind.

Why not download the free version of Acid (Acid Express) and use that to alter the bpm then render to a new wav file? Easy as one-two-three... All you have to enter to download it is your name and a valid email address. Can't go wrong, really.

Orion has plenty of timestreching capabilities, thery may be disabled in the demo or fealture unique to Platinum though.
Load a sample into the drumrack, there is a 'fit' button that autostretches (pitch changes also though). Or for more mangling option load it into a sampler. This has a 'Grooveslicer' similar to Recycle. You can play around with your slices then (this may be Platinum only though, not sure).

The grooveslicer works quite well for this. |
