no idea, but what's with those annoying little noises that the site makes?

Twister has some install problems; Everything needs to be remapped.

Snip however is a fun little toy -- some very interesting sounds. I love it.

I tried out Snip. The sound quality of it is very nice. Though I guess its more for experimental bleeping liquid sounds then for pads or leads. The gui is very nice but hard to read and there are so many options and ways to change the sound. You need to get used to it but I think it has high potential if used for experimental sounds.

I downloaded Snip last week and I like it a lot - one of the better sounding free virtual analogues I've heard, and much more flexible than most. The GUI is a bit of a headache at 1600x1200 resolution, mind you.

Yup I agree...the gui could be at least twise the size...
I tried Snip for a while, but itīs annoying that it delays the seq. start when you press play.
Perhaps Snip needs to buffer or something, I dunno. Just seems to complicated a VSTi for any real use without the slow performance...it sounds cool though.

yeah...very annoying, also the samples are copyrigthed movie snippets...canīt see the real use of this (I didnīt get it to work anyway in Logic 5.5.1)
