4 minutes.... Well done... I've done quickly this little track with 4 or the 6 instruments and with a few of the available articulations... Sounds good... no ? What do you think ?

A little dry for my taste, as I'm not used to horns blatting directly in my ear, I can hear the life in them at least. Not bad. The demos of it certainly sounded wonderful, and is on my short list. Devon

Each instrument comes in 3 mic positions... I used the closer mic in this track. So the more dry. I wanted to check they can sound like a chamber ensemble.

How big is the install for this set? Sam has seemed to put the best quality audio in such a small space!

Every thing is compressed on 1 DVD.
Once extracted you have arround 9,5Gb with the strange ensembles (several instruments splitted over the keybord) gig included. For example, the Bb trumpet is 3 files (3 mic positions) of 380Mb. French core, trombone and tuba 500Mb each file. Cimbasso and picolo trumpet around 200Mb... This is not very big. But the number of velocity layers is not impressive... |
