AuthorTopic: Can I route my EMUX sampler in my sequncer as audio, not VST

Hallo Guys,

Since the Emulator X sampler is standalone, I'd like to keep as it is and send the output to my sequencer (i.e. Cubase 5.0) as audio.

I don't wont to load it as VST in cubase to save resources etc.etc.

Can it be done?

Is rewire something of help here`?

Record the output of the standalone EX into cool edit, soundforge, wavelab or whatever, then edit the audio, treat it with effects or processing and save the audio file to the sequencers project folder, import it into an audio track and bingo!
You will soon go back to the VSTi, I reckon!
