I'm trying to get into r&b production, and I really like some of Tyrese's songs, produced by the Underdogs camp. I'm trying to figure out what some of their instruments are, though. If you go to www.tyrese.com (and ignore all the topless photos), and do to Audio and click on the "How You GOnna Act Like That" song--I want to know what instruments are being used. I know there's a drum track...but what's that instrument that's playing during the verse, where it plays three notes, 2-3-1 (in terms of pitch). It sounds like a synth piano (I don't even know how to describe it). It plays during the lines where the vocals are going through the telephone effect. ANy help is greatly appreciated...you're helping me a LOT. Thanks.

Its pretty much your standard generic RB formula. Drums, Korg Triton, and Guitar licks here and there. The main background chords are Rhodes or EP. I'd be willing to bet all those sounds can be found in the Korg Triton.
