Me too, on all counts! Nothing beats hearing the tunes all fresh on the day...

My track will be fresh to me too because it was written and mastered on headphones (Bad idea, I know but I had no choice), so I'll be hearing it proper for the first time on the day. HiHi

Very Happy If anyone is still interested, you can still get stylophone from this url, posted above. (not the url in the long - but excellent - synth list) I just downloaded it out of curiosity, to play with tonight.

(thanks, TOPAZ)

A shame. Got another host to try it in?

If you love lush pads, fat screaming leads, ethereal synth strings, and basses that can rip cones into confetti... well, the Stylophone could be played alongside all the instruments that make those sounds! Smile

I can't get the Stylophone to work either. There's gotta be a soundfont of that thing somewhere.

Been searching everywhere, found one other place in france but same thing occurs (even found a f@uckin warez site with it there Mad ...assholes).

I tried emailing but address is dead. If everything is a dead link can it be hosted here?

Hey vurt, mabey its me. Do you actually use the pen in the GUI for anything? I can't even make the two switches move. Everything is frozen in the GUI.

And the "C:" part is important...I found that out when I was installing it...since I dual boot my "C" drive isnt my music partition. But it must be hardcoded in the VST or something cuz thats the only place it will look Sad

Ooh, don't tell me that this thing can actually make more sounds than some odd tones?? I thought - or to a certain degree still think - you're kidding and those preset-names are pure fun, as I remember I once had a working copy and couldn't get anything interesting out of it.

But maybe that was me.

Nope all joking aside all the presets are the same. I made a stupid little VSTi some time back with SE that was basicaly a soundfont of the Stylephone with an ADSR on the amp section...worked prity well. I used the samples from hollowsun but they are missing a note so I scrapped it Razz Sure I can dig it up again if anyone cares...but dont see why.

Yup, it just goes beep beep. Very Happy I do wish the vibrato switch worked. (Or is it tremolo?) That would double the number of available sounds!

Don't do this unless you have a bottle of White-Out handy. Wink

Should just need to copy the stylophone.dat file to "c:\windows" and it should work fine...may need to reboot? Dunno...I use it fine with MiniHost...may want to see if it works there...could be your host software?
