Xavier Oudin kindly answered my questions on the Arturia forum, so here's an updated list of new features in MMV 2.0. The list includes all the items we voted on in the features poll, as well as others that had been mentioned in threads and some surprises (to me, at least).

They hit thirteen out of fifteen, and they're hoping to get one more (patch change from host) working in a future update. What a batting average!

Items from the Arturia feature poll listing:

- Patch change within the sequencer host (Cubase, Sonar, Logic...) [No]

- External audio input [Yes]

- Enhance Osc,Filter,Envelope up to the minimoog V quality [Yes]

- Sample and Hold [Yes]

- Undo latest patch modification with a shortcut (Ctrl+Z) [No]

- Inverter function for the waveforms [Yes]

- "note off" function on the sequencer [Yes]

- Schmitt trigger (envelope follower) [Yes]

- One-screen synthesizer (scrolling window) [Yes]

- Ring modulator [Yes]

Items not on the list (though many were requested otherwise):

- Bode frequency shifter [Yes]

- Formant filter [Yes]

- Phaser [Yes]

- Unison [Yes]

- Soft clipping selectable at mixer-channel level. [Yes]

What luxury! Hard to be patient until it's released. Those Arturia folks get plenty of gratitude from me.

Smile woo hoo .. the Schmidt trigger, ring mod and the Sequencer Trigerr off are features I know I will use heavily.

I wonder if they will ever have the ability to allow third party module import. My own MOTM/MMV hybrid Very Happy

Ain't it great? There's Cameleon to play with now... I've got Sonic Synth/SampleTank coming next week... and in late August the free MMV2 update. Truly an embarrassment of riches. Wish my (minimal) talent were worthy of all these goodies! =o.O=
