Hi! I'm using Cubase SX and what I need to get my recordings sound better is a bass guitar simulator that sounds realistic. Please give me some advice and if you can post some samples with some bass sounds. I'm looking for free and comercial stuff. Thank you very much!

I think you'd really need to go with something sample based.

aside from 4front, you could try sampletank2 Free which has an excellent fingered bass sampled set (amongst other things) and also sampletank 1 free (is this still available ???) which had a corking patch called "old 4 strings".
