this is crazy . i loved playing with that synth . it would be a sad day if we gave that synth an eulogy an epitaph and a kvr tombstone . that synth was great for goth trance . if your gonna retire it ligih make it available to everybody as freeware . i realy respect you for taking the first step in what could become a common thing in the near future . developers making all there retired synths freeware instead of letting great synth sink into obscurity and becoming legends in the warez world . you did it once ligih . you can set an example to other developers and actualy you already have .please do it again .

I have a feeling that it will come back under a new name with a host of new features, or some of its distinctive features will be added to an existing NUSofting synth like Mother Ship Astrobelt. Kinda like what happened to Junglist when it became Hydra

But a discontinued synth, with a chance of selling as a legend will also be a great thing.
Maybe the first software legend? (like a minimoog)
Imagine an add like this:

Selling daAlpha in mint condition
used only a few times in no smoking studio/pc.
Still pretty round 0īs and sharp 1īs.
will go for best offer.

I have to say that DaAlpha is one of the most overlooked synths on the market. With it's ablility to load up to three sample .wavs and the synth osc's it has the potential to be one of the most powerful synths in it's price range. Add to that a smooth filter and sweet chorus and it's a real winner. The only thing I've wanted is more .wavs designed specifically for use in DaAlpha. I would love to see a DaAlpha 4k with more lfo's and a more complex routing matrix. Very Happy
