AuthorTopic: Albino Troubles

I have just started to get into cubase and have tried using the albino 2 synth. I set up the VST connections and midi in/outputs up so that it generates sound when i click on the piano keys in the key editor but when i enter notes in and play back i get one or maybe two of the notes played back but sometimes none at all and this varies with the latancey setting i use. I think this may be due to the fact i am just using my standard on board sound card with a ASIO driver or it could be CPU power but this is unlikely as i have a fairly meaty machine could anyone shed any light on this problem?
