AuthorTopic: "Bushworld" - Another Taste of ZeroVector

Hey Folks,

So I'm digging into ZeroVector last night. The release date is getting close, and I am working to refine presets so there are lots of good ones out of the box.

I've mentiond elsewhwere that it is versatile and very easy to program, but (as this short song shows) I am really liking it for rich, sinister textural stuff (as well as bread & butter stuff like organs, EP, strings, etc...).

Anyway, as I threw this together I noticed that a copy of Maureen Dowd's brilliant collection "Bushworld" was on the top of my keyboard, which must have been some inspiration for the bleak "images!" Wink

Only if you're trying to stream on a 56k dial-up! Works fine on cable modem.

Hey Spyro,

I know how frsutrating dial-up can be.

If you like, I could export the demo as a smaller file and send it to you. Just let me know.

Cheers!

"Early Kraftwerk"? Why, I resemble that remark!

Lol....thanks, scuzzphut.

I find that when I write I naturally gravitate to well-crafterd pop/rock stuff or sinister/strange prog rock.

Wanted to change it up a bit.

This one goes out to a friend who recently opined "You need to write more electronic stuff!"

I told him to shut-the-hell-up and turn up the Leonard Cohen.

Very Happy

I'm not sure I've ever heard "turn up" and "Leonard Cohen" in the same sentence before HiHi

oh no! wait! I was at a party once that was going really badly. My mate said "now all we need is for someone to turn up with a Leonard Cohen CD Rolling Eyes "

Well, I was going to say "crank," but that sounded vaguely homo-erotic...

Doh!

Very Happy
