AuthorTopic: "Arpetta" - Another ZeroVector demo

Hey Folks,

Check this out. I am a guitar player, and ZeroVector makes me sound almost proficient on keyboard! Wink

No, I don't get paid to post all these demos. I'm just enthralled by the liquid sound this synth produces.

Nice! Here's a few more by various people in case anyone is interested:

http://www.whitenoiseaudio.com/zerovector/zedna_vallis.ogg - By Ksn

http://www.whitenoiseaudio.com/zerovector/Rozzer_zv_demo.mp3 - By Rozzer of course

http://www.whitenoiseaudio.com/zerovector/com'on.mp3 by Ntl

In all of them, the drums are not Zero Vector.

We're probably looking at about a week - I still need to finish up the docs and address a few issues.

why did you dump the exxelent "Additive Synth" gui design in favour of the "crappy" graphics of ZeroVector

What a rude comment! Rolling Eyes

I actually like the new style better. It would be cool to see ZeroVector dressed up in an Amoebe skin too.

perhaps...I thought of it as more of an honest comment...In all honesty, any commersial success depends on the interest of the buyers, so, imo the "new" gui is not as good as the exellent "Additive synth" gui...just my two cents...nothing more.

as far as i know ZeroVector is going to support skins (there's a drop down menu for that in the gui), so you'll probably find one which fit your likings Smile

Yeah, that's correct - Zero Vector is skinnable and will come with a couple variations. I chose this style because I wanted to go for something that was simple, neat and clean. Is there something specific that you dislike about the style? I'd be happy to take it into consideration.

I assume that you´re talking about my remark...

Well, the thing that supries me is the knob design.

The ZeroVector knobs remind me of old steinberg design with the "blobby" marker on the dial.

Just seems a bit clumsy...but clean.
As there will be a skinning possibility, it´s no biggie tho´
I didn´t know about that option Embarassed

the knobs looks very smooth and "meaty" on Additive Synth...

EDIT:

Also, the "boxes" that houses the knobs and sliders seems to float above the background..not being a part of it.

Both AdditiveSynth and DoppelMangler have backgrounds that are incorporated into the "boxes"

Ok, word. I'll give the knobs a once over before all is said and done. I agree that they are really plain.
