Hi,
I'm trying a few demos right now and can't find any sign of aftertouch control in these VSTIs. I tried the mod matrix in Rhino and z3ta+ to see if aftertouch is available but it isn't. Haven't yet checked Wusikstation, but presets aren't aftertouch sensitive (or so it seems). Have I overlooked something ? My controller keyboard is set to accept aftertouch data (the last time I looked) so what gives? I programme my hardware synths with aftertouch assigned to something or other, so I miss it at the moment... I'm a relative newcomer to VSTIs so appologies if this is something very basic. Thanks !

Aftertouch is available in z3ta+ as a control. IN other words, you can use it to control the level of modulation like with a mod wheel.

Don't know about all the other one but in Crystal you can assign aftertouch to anything in the Mod Matrix. Plus, it's free.

progfusion74,thanks,
I'll have to look again. I must have missed it. It was last night at 3am in the morning when I searched, but it doesn't seem to be a good time for investigating demos ! I've got Crystal.Yes.

Same is true for WusikStation, except it's not free (but it *is* a steal). AT is a mod source. -u

As for Rhino, check the Vel/Aft curves in the oscillators and filters sections.

In z3ta+, both monophonic (channel) and polyphonic aftertouch are supported to control any modulation source to any modulation destination.
Check for 'Chanaft' and 'Polyaft' in the modulation matrix, under the CONTROL column. It also can be assigned as a learnable MIDI control, to move any slider in an assignable range with user-defined minimum, maximum and reverse status. -René

Thanks Big Tick and Rene.
I'll check what you've suggested. |
