Used Albino 2 for quite some time with Cubase SX 2.02 and 2.2.0. I get no spikes like you're talking about. I even did a song with 12 seperate instances of Albino 2 without issue. Sounds like you have another effect on that's screwin' with things, your drivers, maybe something with Cubase corrupted...? Have you started a new project from scratch? I'm assuming no other VSTi does this?

Hi Devon
fyi: It is still the demo version i am running. I have no problems with SX and or any other VSTi. So it must be either the project or a bug. I will try a new project. | |

I used a elimination technique to find out (although i could guess what the problem would be).
The problem is caused by a send effect from the GRM Tools. This is a bundle of very nice FX but never worked properly in SX (but it worked very nice in VST). I hope they come up with a updated version soon. So, first step is to buy Albino Greetings |
