I keep seeing the pop-up on the main kvr screen and I've been wondering whether anybody has tried this collection yet?
Comparisons with Ultra Focus? Atmosphere? The reviews of the individual collections that went into this seem to be really good. But I'm wondering whether anyone here has played with the big collection. Sounds like this synth/library focuses on weird atmospheric, and scary sounds, which would be kind of just what I'm looking for. SCARY AS HELL! Think Halloween, horror soundtrack type sounds...

If it's anything like the film, it'll be twisted!

Ditto, this sound like something I might be interested in. Anyone heard anything from this package? Are their any MP3 Demos around for Altered States? Also, if you know of any reviews on Altered States, please post them here so myself and others can check them out. Thanks, DennisT DennisT

I've been looking at Altered States also. It's got all the cuckooland samples and some other off the wall sounds.

I was very interested in it some time ago, but im unshure of it now. There are a lot of atmosferic tools out there, like Absynth and Atmosphere. I would be interested in the Junk Percussion library(included), which is kind of something else!
But I think Altered States content is old stuf from old sample CDs, re-released, and a lot of that content is not so groundbreaking any more. Itd be nice to here a user review from some one here! There are some reviews out there already, like in future music, but when did a future music review help clear out anything? heheh! heres some audio demos: http://www.zero-g.co.uk/index.cfm?articleid=763 |
