| Author | Topic: Any samplers that adjust loop BPM/pitch to host? | |

I've just started trying drum loops and CM SR202 sampler. But, are there any samplers that I can load in a loop and it will adjust the BPM/pitch to match the host BPM. Similar to how ACID does it(I tried this in Acid Express) but, with a sampler??
Thanks for any advice. | ||

Try AMG ONE/solo - does exactly what you need, imports both REX and ACID loops:-

Yeah INtact can do that but its not as simple as dropping the loop into it and presto....its done. Have to tweak it. What you want is a timewarp device.....right? I was looking for that as well....that would be nice....then I wouldn't have to buy SX3 or Live4 I don't think there is a timewarp VST is there???

Kontakt does timestretch, however for good quality sound on loops you do want the "sampler" to slice the loop, if a software does a basic timestretch it will sound very bad on transients. If you don't want to deal with slices-to-host (using Phatmatik or NImatik, oops I mean INtakt)... You could check out Devine-Machine. We designed Devine-Machine to allow for syncronized loop playback (of up to 32 loops) without the need for slicing in a host. You can even browse and preview loops on your hard disk, at original pitch, synced to BPM. www.devine-machine.com Best Steve

Should really also check out Reflex by Basement Arts and Dicer by ConcreteFX. Both are great plugs |
