im currently using the smart loops dry kit sampler with sonar (DXI plug-in) and since the kit is actually a dry one its meant to have effects like EQ reverb etc added to it...i would like to know how is it possible for me to add effectes to the kit and how to add effects to seperate pieces in the kit , for example i would like to add a different effect to the snare drum and then after that add another to the whole kit, i would also like to know haw can i save such settings so in the future i can directly use the kit without any more additions of effects and so on....another little thing is that since im using the kit for a rock project i would really appreciate it if any can help in telling me whut effects to us to make the drums as realistic as possible.

Cheers

i dont know dr008 yet,but if it works like most drum samplers you need to set each track to a diff midi out
then on your mixer channel in your host add fx to each bit your after Wink

hope this helps

Setting each track to a different MIDI out wont achieve this ,You would have to set each pad that needed seperate FX to its own output so these would have there own channel in the mixer ,I think Vurt meant this but was getting MIDI mixed up with audio channels Very Happy

when you set up dr008 in the config section, you can specify the outputs. On the details page, you can direct which pads you want to go to what output. Then you can save those settings, and they'll always be there. However, the fx are a host thing. What you could do is set up dr008 with the fx you want within your host and save it for your default song.
