Hi,
I don't want to stir up a hornets nest or anything, but I was hoping someone here might be able to help me! I recently sold my Virus C and bought a Powercore Element with Virus plugin (and multi-license), but when loading the plugin, it eats 100% of my CPU (in the CPU meters in Cubase and FL Studio) ... and no sound is produced by the plugin. All other Powercore plugins are working fine, except this one (the one I BOUGHT the thing for in the fist place)! Does anyone have any ideas, or maybe had a similar problem that was resolved? Thanks, (stu.macQ)

you need to make sure that when you intall the PoCo card, check the "tarnce only" box...otherwise it may not work...
hehehe...glad to be of assistance

Thanks for the link.
I think it might be my Emu 1820m drivers ... I'll try updating (again). Edit: Updated drivers appear to have cured the problem. Weird!! Thanks again, (stu.macQ)

If you have a Virus powercore, do you need an antivirus installed too for your protection? |
