There was one for R3-I'll have to go through my library and see if I still have it.

Tanks ew.

I would love to have a decent mellotron ensemble. Im not sure why there isn't one, it's such a kick ass sound.

Sorry to butt in, but I'm a curious type--

Aren't mellotron sounds actually samples? So you can't really "generate" those sounds very accurately, I don't think.

Are R3 ensembles compatible
with R4 ???

Question

They are,if somebody(me in this intance)who has a R3 dongle installed opens them in R4 and saves them.
Then, any R4/Sessions user can open those newly saved ensembles.

Cookie said" Download the wavs from hollowsun, and make a patch yourself from that ???"

I've done this too -

I don't think you guys are getting it?.

Yes you can get samples and make your own patches for whatever sampler you want including one within Reaktor, surely thats a given?

There was one made already(R3)
and if someone with a R3 dongle saves it to R4 then the R4 users can have it too,
or are you saying even if there's one already out there we should still make our own???,

anyway every set of tron samples I get,(and I've got a few now) sound diffrent .

Look all I'm saying is M-tron was just a set of samples , yeah ? but it was all put together in a nice(this is argueable) wrapper. This is the same, some one made a mellotron ens for reaktor 3 and some of us reaktor 4 users would like to use it too , what's the problem??

Noone said there was a problem. People just wondered if the DIY route might not be the most expedient for you. So please chill with regard to people trying to help you.

I own Reaktor Sessions, not the full deal, so I can't make my own. Even if I could I doubt I would be able to pull it off.

That's cool I'm chilled Embarassed, and embarrased now.

sorry guys I def wasn't disregarding your help, and if it seemed like I was I didn't mean it like that Embarassed.

ew , if you did save that old r3 ens to an r4 like I said before that would be very cool especially for people like montana with reaktor sessions .

And I'm actually trying to make one myself , but it's slow progress as I'm pretty busy with other stuff at the mo .
I must say this is linked to the fact that there are still a few cool ens that haven't been ported to R4 yet.?

Here's a link to one but I think it's r3 so I can't use it. I'd like to see how it was made though .

I'm on dial up and it's an 18mb download so if someone knew that this was def not R4 that would be good for me to know .

for a melotron try out "stringer":

Yes, stringer is great. Another freebie is "tapeworm" from www.tweakbench.com, and
mellowsound http://batsound.users.btopenworld.com/. The last one may not be as good as stringer or tapeworm, but for dial-up-people it's great Very Happy
