I have been experiencing preset load problems with v1.2 of the CS80v. Normally SX will remember the configuration of the sound with a song file. The CS80v is not and seems to only exhibit white noise from the VSTi after a song is loaded. This never occured in V1.1. Anybody else had this?
Love the new v1.2 and it sounds even better somehow. I have truly mastered the synth but it don't want to remember anything. I might try a fresh install as i had the remenants of v1.1 in the files in windows that were over-written and it might be corrupting the V1.2. If anybody is interested i have made a few truly authentic Vangelis patches that come straight out of Blade Runner, China and Chariots of Fire all with mod wheel simulated aftertouch for that Vangy played instrument feel. The programming of the Cs80v is absolutely addictive i can tell you. | |

Pug, I've been away and sorry I didn't see this earlier. I have the same problem, when I change the presets they revert when I run the "tape" back in SX2 or if I have it on recycle I can watch it change. I thought it might be SX2, so I posted on the host forum. Someone gave me a lead and if you look on the right panel in SX2, under the synth name it gives the patch. If you change that the patch goes back to as it should and doesn't keep reverting. Xavier suggested deleting the amb.dat file, I tried that tonight and I still have the problem, but changing it in SX2 seems to sort it. I'm still having a problem editing sounds while cycling a track..still working on that. Hope this helps. |
