It's probably been done many many times before.

I am not talking practicality or sound. Just put that to the back of your mind. Concentrate on pure erection making GUI Very Happy

A Synth gui I find really good-looking (no erection though) is MicroTonics. And. Eh. Albino 2.

I think it's a tie between:

NI - Elektrik Piano and USB - UltraFocus

Dididesign's Smack is a real beauty too.

I really like some of those Wusikstation skins, especially Amoebe's Flat Skin and LlunaSol Nordstation skin. Aside from that, I've always loved the e-phonic GUIs, but in particular the GUI for Drumatic 3 is quite nice.

No idea whether I find them exactly sexy, but working with Emagic's GUIs is more pleasure to me than working with anything else. Pretty much unfortunately. I seriously wish it was any different.

ive always liked the Novation VSTi's GUIs. I also like the Ambience gui. and the battery 2 gui, EQ's sound terrible though Sad .

impOSCar's layout makes me sticky. Embarassed

what about worst GUI's? I can't stand z3ta's GUI. placement is good but I HATE how it looks. Albino looks like sounds. a bit tame and subdued, but very smooth, creamy, and warm. I hate Reaktor's GUI. too.

if the Virus Indigo 2 was a soft synth... that'd be the best gui ever hands down game over everyone go home

Fabfilter One is sexy... Don't really like the stacked envelope knobs--but it looks nice.

I like Xphraze--most everything you need is on the first page.

PlaztiCZ has a nice look.

Logic synths are great.

I wonder if Zebra 2.0 will get an update? Filterscape sure looks nice.

Albino 2 and FM7, old Friends. PlastiCZ for writer's block. ImpOSCAR and Vanguard for faithful recreation and brushed aluminium [DeLorean, anyone?]although I daren't own them.

Did you hear about the paranoid with low self esteem? He thought nobody important was out to get him..

I don't know if they have been mentioned already but you have to give huge prop's to Etric for the slick, photorealistic look of his EVM Synths. If you haven't seen 'em, check 'em out.

Vanguard does it for me! I love assymetrical layouts.
BONES
Posted: 11th December 2004 18:56
i dunno, Vanguard, much like PlastiCZ!, has this huge interfave with a few tiny, little controls stuck in the centre of it. Sure it looks nice but the layout is very inefficient.

You're not serious, are you? That looks absolutely fucking ridiculous and it takes up a huge amount of space to practically nothing.
